- Cook Time: 0 minutes
- Total Time: 5 minutes
- Yield: 4–6 servings 1x
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 large or 4 small avocados, peeled, pitted and roughly chopped
- ½ small red onion, finely diced
- 1 jalapeño, seeded and minced
- Handful of cilantro, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons lime juice, from about 1 lime
- Kosher salt and black pepper
Instructions
- Place the chopped avocados in a medium bowl and season with a pinch of salt. Use a fork or a potato masher to mash the avocados to your desired consistency (I like mine a little bit chunky).
- Add the onion, jalapeño, cilantro and lime juice. Stir together and adjust seasonings to taste. Serve immediately.
